Hi Roger,

Sorry for the delay-finally able to update.

I downloaded the .iso file from the link you provided. It was a different
download than the one I had been working with. Even though I was able to
boot the disk, I was not able to run the program-I can't even remember why
at this point! I have also posted a general update; I hope you can find it
  and follow more from there.

  Thanks again,

  Ellen

  Hi Ellen

For some reason, I thought I remembered the HiRens CD as containing both DOS
and Windows versions of HDAT2, so that is why I wondered why you were trying
  to use the DOS one.

I see now that it contains only the DOS version.

But wait: instead of doing all that messing with the missing file, you can
just go to the HDAT website and download the single program directly.

You can get either a .iso file, which will create a bootable CD with HDAT on
it ( a fully working version, I presume) or you can download a floppy disk
  version.

  The .iso file is here:

  http://www.hdat2.com/files/hdat2iso_49b1.exe

Just download then double click to open the self extractor. It will create
the .iso which you can then burn to disk.

  let us know
