Hi Joan,

Thanks for your reply. An interesting thought-so you're saying to boot into
safe mode, and then access the programs some way? I found a file called
HBCDMenu.exe in the main directory of the disc, so I'll try running that
from Safe mode and see what happens. I'll report back later.

Perhaps because it's a Dell, you may need to run the Hiren's CD in Safe
Mode, instead of as a Live CD. Many of the Tools can be run that way...
