[SOUTHBENDLATHE] RE: How do you Test a 3-Phase Converter?

 


At least what I've found on the phase-a-matic site, is only the hook-up information, etc.  I suspect they don't want people to know just how simple the circuit inside really is.


There are only a handful of ways that they could have implemented the self-starting circuit, but we need to see the guts to be sure what they've done and what to check to fix it.


Just for reference, is the switch on the lathe, a rotary "drum" switch, a toggle, or something else?
