Steven, Carvel, Perry, et al,
The foregoing was a test to determine whether or not Yahoo has repaired the code associated with Attachments Setting #3, which before it quit working was what the Yahoo A_C group was set to.  What it was supposed to do was strip off all attachments, put them into Files/Attachments on the Yahoo server, and include a link to each in each of the reflected emails.  Out of the four (I think) times when it should have worked that way, once it put the attachment into Attachments but didn't put a link in the file.  So I would have to say that it still doesn't work.  On the other hand, Setting #4 which should send out any attachments in each reflected email worked 5 out of 5 times.
This test was actually performed in aid of another small Group that is still on Yahoo.  So I apologize for waking anyone up.
I will also take a moment to repeat that the Atlas_Craftsman Group has relocated to    https://groups.io/g/atlas-craftsman/     .  Note that the underscore between atlas and craftsman has changed to a hyphen.  Groups.io doesn't allow the underscore in addresses, which is actually good, as many email managers automatically underline links in emails.  This makes it look like there is a space between the two words.  All members of the Yahoo group automatically became members of the groups.io group.  Within about half an hour of the transfer several weeks ago, around 400 had unsubscribed, the majority having email addresses at Yahoo.com.  Given the time of day of the move (around 10:PM CST), it seems likely that Tech Support at groups.io was correct when they said that Yahoo probably put the initial Welcome Aboard emails into their Spam traps and somehow triggered the Unsubscribe email that is in the footer of every email sent out by the groups.io server.  Since then, Yahoo has apparently been sending a Spam report email to groups.io, whose server is set up to automatically recognize it, and unsubscribe the member.  There have been quite a few cases of those, several of which belonged to active members who immediately rejoined, in some cases with a different email address.  Other than that, I'm not aware of any other significant problems with the move.
Note that atlas_craftsman@yahoo.com now has all messages moderated.  And all applications to join are answered direct with an explanation of the move.  If someone makes a post, the owners and moderator receive a notice and write the originator direct to let them know of the change.  Aside from this little exercise this afternoon, when it was more convenient for ALCON not to, posts are normally rejected.
