Hi Tim,
If I decide to try something I think I would want to try a stepper on the mini lathe spindle. My goal would be two fold: (1) to use the spindle itself as a dividing head (2) to increase the motor torque at low speeds as compared to the standard BLDC motor I have on the MicrMark 7 X 16 at present.
Is my thinking going in the right direction here?
