When dealing with a family that knows nothing about the old stuff, just tell them that it is not worth much and if they say otherwise , walk away.I was looking at buying some property to build a house on. Found a spot that I was mildly interested in but the 3 families could not get together on what to do. They decided to split the 3 acers into 3 lots. Thought they could get more that way.
