[SOUTHBENDLATHE] Re: Lift test (was Run Out)

 

I agree the torque is very relevant, i set mine with a torque wrench, and 10# either way can make a big deference, on the lift you want.  I have mine set write now at 15# with .0005 lift which is very tight, but i hand scraped my spindle in.. On a non scraped spindle .001-.0015 should be good.
