[Amateur-repairs] Re: hOW DO YOU TEST THE DATA CABLE USED BY A TS-480?

I am just now working on my TS-440S.
Call up HyperTerminal. Set it to your COM port. Set it to 4800Baud,
NO handshake.
Type "FA;"
It should reply with the frequency of vfo A.

In HRD, I tell it my COM port, CTS and RTS, 4800baud.

Hopefully the TS-480 is same...

A bad score is 579. A good idea is checking yours at freecreditscore.com.
