For years, I had collected all kinds elec. gear - fixed a few - stored the rest until a couple years ago - that's when I started cleaning out.

However, I have to watch that I don't start saving again.

donate your old equipment to the local ham club for new members that can use them to get started. They then donate back to the club when they upgrade. A small price to help clubs pocket.

Hi All

If it still works and you have the room then keep it. If not then donate
or recycle it.

I have a collection of test gear ranging from brand new to WWII. In
fact, I prefer my HP1741 analog scope to a modern all digital one.

Two WWII items, a noise generator and a crystal activity meter are still
working albeit with a few mods and some regular maintenance.

To me this all looks and sounds like english and some math, but click y can make it not.

Long life to vacuum tubes, where with a couple of weekends effort you could put together a regenerative receiver with a couple of tubes and a crystal CW transmitter with another pair of tubes and get on the air with CW. Now it's all chips and you have barely a clow of how it world.
