In scrapping stuff, I have encountered two kinds, one of which has square corners and is often used for wire wrap. The other is round with a larger section on the top that prevents a hook-type clip from slipping off. I label them "stakes" in my pile of stuff, but didn't encounter them in a quick search of "test points".
