Re: [Amateur-repairs] Test and diagnose a couple of Heathkit signal generators?

Thanks Prasad -

Even though I am familiar with tube equipment and high voltages, the warning is appreciated and always safe to give someone a reminder even if you think they do already know.

I'm planning on replacing the electrolytics and thanks for the idea about those diodes too - I'll check them.

My main reason in asking the question was to learn the proper ways to couple the signal generator into equipment.
I know there are various things you can do with a VFO that will distort or cut-off it's signal, etc.

I didn't know if there were similar circumstances for a signal generator, by which if I unknowingly connected it in a certain way, it would not work right, or the signal would not be injected properly into the equipment.
