[Simply Computers] HP D1420 cleans and prints out test sheet...

 

.... but won't print a document. I'm using Win7.

I don't want to buy a new printer and I'm steamed at Win7. Acquired this
printer and it goes thru the "Clean" cycle motions.

Need help with settings to make this printer print a black and white doc.
Not computer literate so need detailed help.

Have filled both cartridges, and it has sat overnight and have cleaned it
at least three times.
