Well, photo attachments are still working as they have since Jon turned on restricted attachments year before last. At least from here. So it isn't apparently a Yahoo problem.
What is the file size of the largest file you tried to attach?

If this works as it used to, the Yahoo server will strip the attached photo off and put it Files/Attachments on the web site, where you will need to go to view it. There should be links to the photo in the email.

Photo is of the carriage and compound on an Atlas 10100. Shows late compound on early carriage.
