I think you may be confusing Yahoo's ineptitude with something more purposeful on their part. Yahoo's programmers and NEO program managers are "schlemiels" – they apparently don't know what they are doing, haven't thought out the consequences of their program changes, and haven't thoroughly tested their new software. They are also none-to-quick to fix the problems they created. The rest of us are "schlimazels", for we are the unlucky ones being subjected to Yahoo's lack of competence. NEO is not purposely "playing with people's minds", it is simply garbage programming and people are letting themselves get upset because they cannot accomplish what they want to do.

I understand the frustration with this sort of fecal computer programming, having myself been subjected to it and similar stressors on more than a few occasions. The trick to dealing with this kind of crap is to 1) understand that you are dealing with schlemiels, 2) realize that there is NOTHING you can do to control the situation, and 3) understand that getting mad doesn't accomplish anything except to raise one's blood pressure. Getting to these realizations is NOT easy thing to do, but does become simpler when you consider your own health. If that doesn't work, take to drink. (LOL)

My gut reaction might sound harsh, but I am exasperated.

Not with you.

Yahoo/Neo is playing with people's minds.

The very same people they rely upon to remain in existence.

Not logical.

I wish I was as computer literate as I am a chief toolmaker.

I am not.

Not by far.

All I can do is to keep trying.

Until I am transferred to that big Toolroom in the sky.
