[Electronics_101] How to test an SC141B SILICON TRIACS

 

I have an old Oster food processor that no longer turns the motor on and
while the rest of the functions appear to work, switches turn lights on and
switch power settings, etc, the main drive motor does not come on with
either the run or pulse button. I suspect that the SC141B Silicon Triac
has gone out on me so I need to find a way to test it with a standard VOM.
I have removed the triac from the circuit board so any information would be
very welcome.
