[7x12minilathe] Lathe adjustment, Laser or Test bar?

 

HI
I struggled with my Mini lthe for some time before buying a test bar.
When I finally got the test bar I found getting the head stock in line with the ways fairly easy.
Getting the tail stock in line was slightly more difficult but sucess in the end.

An issue that was mentioned in another "io" migration I have been part of , is that if one only uses this for emails , your account will eventually freeze – one evidently needs to access / log into  the Group site from time to time to keep your account active ,

 

Is this correct ? If so how often ?

I have not had any issues and I am only doing the email thing on my phone. Hence, the funky spellings from time to time.
